Ever built an upside-down snowman? If you came to Mount Forest Camp with us on our annual Winter Fun Day, you could have tried. It was ideal weather on February 18th this year (last year we had to cancel because of a blizzard). Most visitors tried tobogganing; the adventurous could bring cross-country skis and go around our nature trail; the pond was frozen! (but the ice was not NHL quality!). All activities entirely 'at your own risk' of course.
Hot drinks were provided, and as usual visitors brought their own lunch. We all appreciated the natural beauty of God's creation in winter-time
(Job 37:6
He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth'). This annual event was primarily for those who live in the Mount Forest area. However, this year we enjoyed combining our activities with a youth event called GenZ, drawing teens from various Ontario towns and cities.
